Learning, Growing, and Gaining More Control in Presspage

If there’s one thing every comms professional has in common, it’s a calendar that never seems to have enough white space. New stories break, issues flare up, and teams are constantly juggling priorities. At the same time, new colleagues join who are eager to contribute from day one.

upgraded-new-hires

That’s exactly why we’ve been building out the Presspage Academy: to give new hires the tools to get up to speed quickly, and to give experienced pros easy ways to sharpen their skills. The goal: everyone on the team feels confident and ready to act when it matters.

The Academy now comes in three flavors:

  • Self-service video tutorials to cover the basics and get hands-on fast.
  • In-platform product tours that point you to all the right features you need to do your work.
  • A brand-new Webinar series, starting with Digital PR Operations (our foundational training). In the new year we’ll go deeper with advanced topics like Investor Relations and Crisis Communications.

Together, these resources make it easier to empower new colleagues while giving the whole team more time for the work that really matters: crafting and delivering your story.

linkedin-certified

For those who want to show the world what they’ve mastered, we now award an official Presspage Digital PR Operations certificate, which you can proudly showcase on LinkedIn.

And while the Academy is all about building skills, we’ve also made improvements inside the platform itself. These updates give your team more control, better visibility, and less time lost on repetitive tasks.

Export Email Activity

You can now export the full activity of your email recipients. Open rates, clicks, and engagement data can be pulled in one go, making reporting faster and freeing you up to focus on insights instead of spreadsheets.

Granular Rights Management for Page Creation

Admins can now decide how much freedom different user roles get when creating Pages. From article-only templates to fully custom pages, you can fine-tune where flexibility is valuable and where structure prevents mistakes.

Improved Restricted Access to Articles

We’ve made it easier to control access to sensitive articles by allowing you to select individual users from a list, regardless of their role. For larger organizations with many communicators, this now comes with bulk selection, a search bar, and better visibility. This makes it faster to manage access without losing oversight.

These updates reflect what matters most: helping teams learn faster, work with more precision, and keep sensitive news secure.
