More control over permissions and better multi-newsroom publishing

As organizations grow, managing who can access what and how content is handled across teams and markets becomes increasingly complex. This release introduces targeted updates to the Presspage platform that give communications teams more precise control over permissions and improve how content is managed across multiple newsrooms and languages.

More control over who can access key publishing actions

Granular user rights

As more people get involved in publishing and managing content, user permissions often become difficult to track and easy to misconfigure across roles. With Presspage's Granular Rights Management, new permission toggles have been added at the user role level.

These new toggles give you more precise control over specific actions, including exporting Newsroom statistics, managing Newsroom Publish options, accessing General Account settings, managing Pages Publish options, adjusting Page settings, and Creating blank Email campaigns. Instead of relying on broad roles, you can now define access at a much more granular level, reducing the risk of unintended changes while keeping workflows efficient.

More flexibility when working with multi-published assets

Publishing content across multiple newsrooms often means repeating work and losing flexibility in how assets are handled locally. With Multi Publish, metadata from multimedia assets such as images, documents, and videos is now copied across all targeted accounts and languages when content is multi-published.

This update means that copied assets can be managed more independently in the Presspage platform within each newsroom or language version. You can edit, move, or remove assets per account, while keeping a consistent starting point across versions. For global organizations working with multiple regional newsrooms, this reduces duplication and makes it easier to maintain consistency while still allowing local adjustments.

We’ll continue to refine these workflows so teams can manage content more efficiently as they scale across markets and teams.
